The cross of Jesus Christ stands at the centre of the Christian faith. It’s the symbol we all recognise and see displayed in jewellery, buildings and graphic design. But why is it central? Why did Jesus die and why is his death so important?

At MYC 2026 we will go beyond the basics and dig deep into what the Bible says about the cross. Through big talks and seminars, we will explore the themes such as atonement, justification and God’s glory and how they all connect. We will also see how theology translates into how we live and the big decisions of life.
