The Cross
Where Justice & Mercy meet.
The Cross
Where Justice & Mercy meet.
It’s the symbol we all recognise and see displayed in jewellery, buildings and graphic design. But why is it central? Why did Jesus die and why is his death so important?
At MYC 2026 we will go beyond the basics and dig deep into what the Bible says about the cross. Through big talks and seminars, we will explore the themes such as atonement, justification and God’s glory and how they all connect. We will also see how theology translates into how we live and the big decisions of life.
Join us for this and more: small groups, personal Bible time and prayer, free time and fun. Wherever you’re at with God, come and connect, make new friends, learn and grow at MYC 2026
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
Starting Friday 8th May, this five-day conference will be a unique moment for you to connect with your church family, hear in-depth Bible teaching, engage in passionate singing, prayer and discussion, and make meaningful decisions about your life.
Unichurch MYC is for is anyone at Unichurch that wants to learn more about Jesus. It’s a chance to be exposed to life-changing bible teaching, grow lasting friendships with members of church, and spend a few days of glorifying Jesus together.
Cabins consist of 4 or 5 rooms of bunk beds with an individual or linking ensuite with a shower and toilet. Each room is fully air conditioned and has multiple power points. Beds come with a pillow but you will need to bring your own linen.
The conference will be one hour south of Newcastle at Camp Toukley (aka Lutanda Toukley). We can help you get there! When you register you can tell us your transport situation and our transport team will help organise this with you.
Yes, in the registration form you can make a minimum part payment of $50 as a non-refundable deposit. Between the time of registering and the conference date you can then make payments using the bank details that will be emailed to you when you first register. Find the bank details and your outstanding balance in the attached invoice to that email.
We believe people will get the most out of the conference by being there the whole time, so we encourage you to set aside the full five days. However, we understand this is not possible for everyone, so for those people in that situation, we will have part-time tickets available.
The full price ticket includes all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning/afternoon teas) for the full five days, full access to everything in the conference program, accommodation, and activity resources.
If you’re unable to afford a ticket, we don’t want you to miss out! Please email us at myc@hunterbiblechurch.org and we can arrange some help.
If you’re in a position to financially help others make the conference, we’d love to hear form you as well! Let us know at myc@hunterbiblechurch.org
MYC is a week packed with fun, bible and friends (as well as plenty of time to recharge on your own if needed).
Each day includes some personal time in the Bible, some all in page-turning seminars, free time, heaps of food, and finishes with an epic night session of talks, songs and prayer.
