God calls us as Christians to “turn away from wickedness” (2 Tim 2:19) yet the temptations and availability of impure online content are greater than ever. Pornography is an expression of evil in our world and a danger for men and women, young and old, married and single people.
We need God’s word, Christian community and practical wisdom to help us. This upcoming Big Ideas Night will help us to find hope and encouragement for ourselves and the people we love. Be equipped with resources and practical next steps.
This event is open to members of HBC, men and women, senior youth, and junior youth with their parents.

Compassion works!
Our church has been partnering with Compassion Australia to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name for many years. Now we have a chance to witness the difference the work of Compassion makes with our own eyes!
See firsthand how our local church partners are serving their communities in the Philippines. You will meet and be encouraged by church leaders as well as visit local families in their homes.
On this trip you will travel to Manila and Iloilo City with small groups from like-minded Australian churches. Join us to see how local church members worship God in both word and deed by ensuring each child is known, loved, protected and released from poverty in Jesus’ name.
“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.”
