If you’re new or you’ve been around church for a while but haven’t yet connected into the community here, The Connect Series is for you!
We want to be upfront about what we are like as a church, what drives us, and where we see God taking us. That’s why we run the Connect Series.
The Connect Series is how you can find out more about Hunter Bible Church, what we believe and where we’re going. It’s an opportunity to get to know other people around church, meet some of the pastors including our senior pastor Greg, and hear what we are passionate about as a church.
Join us as we give thanks for what God is doing amongst us
Our AGM is around the corner and we'd love to see you there.
This will be a great opportunity to give thanks to God together for what he has been doing over the past year. Plus we get to look ahead to what we pray God will do this year and beyond, and get the most fresh-off-the-vine update on our plans for 2026 and beyond.
We'll also do some family business, including running through the budget and hearing reports from the Elders and Finance Team.
Here’s the minutes from our 2025 AGM.
Am I valuable…?
Come and enjoy some pizza while we dig into one of the most important questions you can ever ask… Am I Valuable?
In a world where meaning is shaky, how can I know I matter, and to whom?
Bring a mate, and tuck in together!

The Winter Internship is a 6-week ministry training program designed for members of Hunter Bible Church—especially trimester students at Unichurch.
With the new UON academic calendar and fewer study options available during the midyear session, this internship provides a unique opportunity to invest that time in intentional gospel ministry training.
Through a mix of theological training, ministry training & experience, as well as ministry projects, peer groups, and time in community. Interns will be equipped to grow in:
Character and godliness
Conviction about the gospel
Competence & confidence in their ministry skills
Commitment to serving the local church
Whether you are considering full-time ministry in the future, or simply want to be equipped for a lifetime of serving Jesus, the Winter Internship is designed to help you take intentional next steps.
This info Session will help you get your head around what a Winter Internship is, and whether it’s right for you.

The gospel of Jesus is for everyone, everywhere. But for some believers, this life-saving news can also be life-threatening.
This is a night to help us as remember the church in the places where it is most difficult to follow Jesus. We’ll hear of God’s faithfulness to his people in the Bible and updates from our trusted friends at Open Doors. There’ll be a time for questions, prayer and to learn more about our partnership with Open Doors, in particular how supplying Bibles brings encouragement to those undergoing persecution.

24-26 April
CRU, Lake Mac
We’re planning another unmissable weekend. Come forge new friendships, strengthen existing relationships and deepen your love of God.
Check out our FAQ’s and last year’s timetable below to get an idea of what you’ll get up to!
-
It’s best to leave your phone at home - you will need to leave it in your bag during most of the camp and won’t be allowed to use it during sessions, seminars, or games.
Bring a Paper Bible and a Pen!
Cabins are for RESTING and SLEEPING - not hanging out, unless a leader gives you permission otherwise.
-
We know finances are tight for many this year. If the cost is going to be a barrier to your youth coming along please shoot us an email at youth@hunterbiblechurch.org
-
You can let us know about any special requirements in the relevant section of the rego form.
-
We’d love for you to come to as much of the weekend as possible but we understand this may not be possible for everyone. Reach out to us at youth@hunterbiblechurch.org to chat about your options.
-
Going away for a whole weekend with lots of people you don’t know can be scary. If your youth is feeling extra anxious, reach out to us at youth@hunterbiblechurch.org. We’d love to chat about some ways we can support you and your youth to ease some of those anxieties.
-
We’re expecting over 100 youth to come along to camp this year which is SO exciting but it does mean that logistically it’s too big a task for us to arrange lifts for every youth. If you can’t drive your youth to or from camp we recommend chatting with some other parents to see if they are able to give them a lift. If you’re really struggling to find someone, reach out to us at youth@hunterbiblechurch.org. We’ll work to put you in touch with someone that may be able to help.
For the Glory of God
After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you, for you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.”
John 17:1-5
Our lives aren’t ultimately about building our own name, but about reflecting God’s glory in everything we do. When we see that, every part of life becomes part of the same mission Jesus had: bringing glory to the Father. What could that look like for you…?
