Earlier this year we conducted an anonymous members survey because we’ve convinced it’s a helpful way to get a snapshot of how we’re going in various aspects of church life together. The aim is to try and do a very similar survey every 12 months and see if there are changes overtime and if there are areas of our church we need to think about more carefully.

It’s worth noting that this is just data. It doesn’t tell us why people have answered various ways, or whether the results are good or bad. Some people find looking at data interesting, while others can get easily concerned, or maybe overthink each line. Sometimes, people can look at this data and just feel unsure about what it means and what they should do about it.

I think, like most things, a great thing to do is thank God for the positive things, and pray for anything you find concerning. If you’d like to chat about any of the items in the survey or what it means, please do come and grab myself, or any one of the staff.
