It’s been hard to make decisions about what we should or shouldn’t run. Then there’s all the added ideas about how things could be changed so they can keep running. We’re really thankful for so many people praying for our senior team and Committee of Elders as we approach these decisions.

Here’s a few things that we’ve decided we just can’t run at the moment…

  • “Physically” Gathering on Sundays
Although it pains us to not gather physically, we’ve decided to move to a new form of online gathering until further notice. We’ll provide more details about this very soon. Watch this space.

  • All-in Women’s Growth Group (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays)
NOT CANCELLED… Just moving to meeting in homes, rather than all together in the hub.

  • Rush & Youth (was planned for 20 March)
We’re putting together a plan for Kids and Youth… watch this space.

  • Movers & Groovers (was scheduled for 20 March)

  • Graceful Parenting Seminar (was scheduled for 25 March)
We’re looking at whether this is something we will postpone or move online. Watch this space.

  • Colleges Weekend Away (was planned for 27-29 March)
More details will come from Lucy and Dally.

  • AllNations Weekend Away (was planned for 27-29 March)
More details will come from the AllNations leaders.

  • NextPhase: Medication and Wellness (was planned for 28 March)
We’re looking at whether this is something we will postpone or move online. Watch this space.

  • Building a Safe and Strong Marriage (was planned for 28 March)
We’ll post details about when we think this will be able to run

  • All Easter Services

    • Good Friday (was planned for 10 April)
Both services at Lambton High School & Eleebana Public School will need to move to another form… watch this space for details.

    • Great Sunday (was planned for 12 April)
Since this would be part of our normal Sunday services, we’ll do these to our online medium.

  • SMBC Children's Ministry Conference (planned for 2 May)
    Postponed until 2021

  • Newy Man Camp (was planned for 29-30 May)
