HBC Senior Youth are going to KYCK19!
KYCK is a gathering of 6000 teenagers in years 9-12 at school in Katoomba over three weekends — singing, preaching and celebrating Jesus. And we'll be heading along to weekend #2 on 26th–28th April.
In 2019 we'll be looking at The Gospel of John and how we need to Believe in Jesus, Love like Him and Remain in Him. It is always an amazing conference and we absolutely love going!

everything you need to know
When
Friday 26th April – Sunday 28th April 2019
Accommodation
We're staying at a house in Katoomba for free. Hurray! The boys will camp in the backyard and the girls will sleep inside. Great facilities and really close to the conference centre.
Transport
We will be travelling down by bus. One 22-seater driven by Joel Adams, and 1–2 cars driven by leaders.
Departure and Return
We’ll be leaving from the HBC Hub (14 Heddon Rd Broadmeadow) by 10am Friday the 26th April and returning to the Hub by 6:00pm Sunday 28th April.
The early start on Friday is to allow for the required travel time (roughly 3.5-4hrs), arrival at accommodation and setting up tents, having dinner together, and travelling to the conference site before the first session at 7.30pm.
Please arrive at the Hub by 9:30am on Friday so we can pack and leave on time.
We will grab lunch and leave immediately following the final session on Sunday.
Cost
Total cost for KYCK is $120 per child. This covers your conference ticket, accommodation, meals and transport. KYCK is a not-for-profit event and HBC does not make any money, we just want your kids to have a great time!
HBC has purchased tickets from KYCK at a discount, ticket cost is included in your total KYCK weekend registration.
Payment
You can register online to make a credit card payment. The last thing we want is for money to be a reason not to come. If this is an issue for your family, please tell us so we can work something out. Email hbcyouth@hunterbiblechurch.org

What to bring
A tent if you’re a guy! Boys are camping in the property backyard, girls are sleeping inside. If you can bring a tent please let us know when you register!

Towel & toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc)
Summer clothes
Warm clothes
Wet weather gear (you just can't predict the weather up at Katoomba!)
Food: Lunch on the way down on Friday will be your choice of BYO or Turkish 2 Go in Blaxland, so bring money if you wish to buy. Also, bring one thing to share for morning tea and some snacks to keep you going!
Cash: Bring money for lunch on Friday if you're not BYO. Plus you'll need $5 for the Saturday night BBQ. See below for other optional purchases.
Please label large items so they can be returned to their owners.
BBQ, Bookshop and merch
We’ll be doing the Sat Night BBQ as a group, which includes 2 sausages and a soft drink each for $5. Bring that in cash.
There is a great Christian bookshop on site at KYCK, plus the opportunity to buy a KYCK hoodie or t-shirt if you’d like.
It’s going to be a fantastic conference and a great experience for senior youth to get away together. We can’t wait!
