City - Matthew 22:34-46

  1. What's one thing you really love? What do you love about it? 

  2. Re-read Matthew 22:34-46. 

    a. What does Jesus say about love and how we should approach God? 

    b. What does this look like for us today? (ie. Giving our whole lives for him, mind, identity, passions, habits). What changes do you want to make in your life?

  3. What happens when we forget or remember that loving God is the most important thing we can do? 

  4. Why be in church community? Pray for 1 group member

Garden Suburb - Matthew 22:23-33

  1. How much do you think about your future? (10 mins? 10 hrs? 10 days, etc? )

  2. Re-read Matthew 22:23-33. Recount the issue and what Jesus says in response here. What do you notice about Jesus response?  

  3. Why do you think it matters that God is “the God of the living, not the dead?”

  4. What happens when we forget the hope of heaven?
