Our volunteer parking team will welcome you with a friendly face and direct you where to go to drop off your youth. Park up and you’ll be directed to the rego desk to sign in. If you’re new to HBC you may be asked to fill in a form so we can get your details. Our friendly team will be there to answer any questions you may have and connect your youth with their year group leader for the night.

Friday Youth is all about fun and connection! We kick off the evening with casual hangouts and games then, we dive into an engaging Bible talk and break into small discussion groups, giving everyone a chance to explore the topic more deeply. We’ll play some fun games and wraps up at 9 pm.
Check out our example timetable below or get a glimpse of the action on our socials

Friday Youth is designed for students in Years 6 through 12. Parents are welcome to drop off their kids and ask any questions, but we encourage parents to let the youth enjoy the night independently. Rest assured, we create a safe and welcoming environment.
-
We recommend comfortable clothing—just something that lets them have fun and move around easily. Be aware that sometimes youth can get messy. We’ll try to notify you beforehand but it’s often best to send your youth in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Bibles are provided, but bringing their own is always encouraged. We’ll have light snacks and drinks, but if your child needs more, feel free to pack extra.
-
No cost for first-timers! If your child continues to come, it’s $18 per term. You can easily pay online via our payment link HERE.
This payment helps to cover the running cost HBC Youth and helps us buy things like snacks and decorations to ensure every Friday night is unforgettable.
-
We provide light snacks, but we recommend feeding your child dinner beforehand. We aim to accommodate all allergies but if you have any concerns please let us know at the rego desk when you arrive.
-
Please let us know at drop-off. We’ll ensure a leader is assigned to support them and we’re always happy to discuss any additional needs.
-
All our regular leaders are required to undergo a Working with Children Check along with a Working with Children course developed by Safe Ministry. We ensure a good ratio of leaders to youth and encourage youth to stay in sight of a leader at all times. We also have check-in and check-out procedures to keep everyone accounted for.
-
You can drop your youth off from 6:45 pm and pick them up after 9 pm. Please ensure your child is signed in and out at the rego desk for safety.
-
Once your child attends, you’ll be added to our email list for updates. You can also follow us on social media and check our website for the latest info.

We aim for engaging, age-appropriate content that challenges and grows our youth to know and love God more. Most weeks we split into junior (year 6-8) and senior groups (year 9-12) to tailor the content better. Our topics range from Bible books to big questions about faith, making sure it’s relevant and inviting for everyone.
