Our Mission

The Hunter Bible Church Christian Education Committee oversees the Centre's activities, guided by the mission to provide and oversee arrangements for regular and systematic instruction in Bible knowledge and Christian education. We aim to equip individuals with a solid foundation in Scripture, enabling them to grow in their faith and effectively serve within the church and community.

The Committee's responsibilities encompass a range of key areas to ensure the quality and effectiveness of our educational programs:

  • Oversee and approve curricula that align with our theological convictions and cater to various age groups and learning styles.

  • Standards for our teachers, ensuring they possess both theological depth and a passion for Christian education.

  • Enrolment processes to ensure accessibility and appropriate placement for all students.

  • Methods of assessment and correction to facilitate student learning and growth.

  • Certifications recognised outside of our organization.

Governance and Management

The Hunter Bible Church Christian Education Committee operates in partnership with Hunter Bible Church Association Inc. While the Committee does not hold property or assets, it functions as a controlling board over the educational activities of the HBC Association.
