Prayers and Plans

We think God is worthy to hear big prayers. So our plans are always in His hands, not ours - and that gives us all the more desire to go after His glory more and more. What does this mean for us at Hunter Bible Church?

Our big prayer is that God would give Jesus more than 30,000 people in Newcastle - for a start. That’s not a small prayer but it’s not really that big. See, there are over 300,000 people in the greater Newcastle area. From what we know, only about 2%-3% of those are Christian. That’s about 6,000 to 9,000 people… out of 300,000.

So we’re praying that God would start by giving Jesus 30,000 Novocastrians. And we’re praying that God would use us to be part of it. He may not use us – that’s fine. But either way we'd love Him to do it and we’d love the chance to be part of it.
